Survivor Kaoh Rong: 3 Key Scot Pollard Moments in Week 10
Survivor Kaoh Rong aired one of the most intense episodes of the season on Wednesday night, and former KU basketball alum Scot Pollard was right in the thick of the action.
Wow. What an episode!
After the way the boys played having the hidden immunity idols in last week’s episode, we should have expected something big in this episode. I don’t think any of us would have thought things would have gone down the way they did.
If you have yet to watch the most recent episode of Survivor Kaoh Rong, stop reading now. Major spoiler alerts ahead.
All right, now that that’s out of the way, the hammer was thrown down in this episode. Scot Pollard was voted out. He didn’t really do himself any favors though, which cost him his game.
For the final time, let’s take a look at the three key moments from Scot Pollard in the most recent episode of Survivor Kaoh Rong.
Key Moment #1: Approaching Aubry about “making amends”

Early in the episode, Tai told Scot and Jason that he wanted to befriend the women and make camp life a little better. Scot took it upon himself to pull Aubry aside and tell her what the guys wanted.
He said that the guys wanted to vote Cydney out and once she was gone, everything would be back to normal. While I do think Scot was being sincere about his intentions, I can see why Aubry was rubbed the wrong way. She took it as he was saying it was his way or no way, and she didn’t really care for it.
It just added another name to the list of people who don’t care for Scot.
Key Moment #2: Not listening to Tai
Tai tried to tell Jason and Scot about Aubry approaching him about a possible alliance. Rather than hear his thoughts out, the guys ignored him and said they had to vote Aubry out at the next tribal council. That move might have seemed minor at the moment, but it pissed Tai off.
Tai is a very sensitive guy and when the two guys ignored him, it irritated him and caused him to make one of the biggest moves in Survivor history. Which was…
Key Moment #3: Tai not playing his idol
After a tribal council filled with Scot and Jason talking themselves up, the annoyance on Tai’s face showed. It was obvious that he was conflicted as to what to do.
After the votes were cast and Jeff Probst was about to read them, he asked for someone to play their idol, and Julia kept saying, “Play it, Tai. Play it.” and he didn’t. After the votes were read and Scot had the most amount, he turned to Tai for them to piece their idols together… only Tai didn’t play his. He shook his head no and just like that, Scot Pollard’s Survivor game was done.
Scot Pollard made this one of the most exciting seasons of Survivor to date.

I’m a Survivor geek. I’ve been a fan from the very beginning and watched every season, some multiple times. I love this show and I am 100% serious when I say that this season could go down as one of my favorites.
Scot Pollard added to the excitement with his arrogance and wicked ways. I would be very, very surprised if he isn’t invited back to be on a future All-Stars season, and if he is, you know I’ll be covering it on KC Kingdom.
The main thing to take out of this episode is that nothing is ever a sure thing in Survivor. Scot and Jason thought they were for sure safe and heading into the long stretch of the game. Anything can happen though, as indicated by Tai not playing the idol to make a Super Idol and get Aubry out of the game.
Next: 3 Key Scot Pollard Moments from Last Week's Episode
Since this is the last of these Survivor posts, I’ll go ahead and make my predictions for the rest of the season. I think Aubry is the clear cut winner, as she’s been getting that type of edit all season long. She’s the most deserving too. Jason and Julia will be voted out as soon as they’re not immune. I could see Joe or Michele being the goat taken to the end, and Cydney will be the third on there.
Final Three: Aubry, Cydney, Michele
Winner: Aubry
Best of luck to Scot Pollard! Hope to see you on the show again in the future.
