Kansas Athletics has officially released the first look at the renovations for David Booth Memorial Stadium and the brand-new KU Gateway District. Construction is set to begin in December and completed for the 2025 season.

If these renditions are any indications, it’s going to be beautiful.

The renovations to David Booth Memorial were fashioned based on Kansas landscape and architecture, with the Gateway District imagined as a 365-day entertainment district with new dining, retail, and other amenities to attract fans and students even when football isn’t in season.

With Kansas football back on the map under Lance Leipold, the timing of a new stadium and entertainment district couldn’t be better.

Jalon Daniels is the Preseason Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year while the team is expected to post the most wins its had in over a decade. An investment this large into the program’s present and future indicates the university is serious about its newfound football prowess.
