Survivor Kaoh Rong aired its most intense episode yet and Scot Pollard, formerly of KU basketball, had a huge role in the drama this week.

Wow. Where do I even begin with this week’s episode of Survivor? From sabotage to gender battles to a massive blindside, this week was an episode to remember.

Scot Pollard played a big part in the drama this week and certainly made things interesting for both his tribe mates and for those watching at home.

Last week, Scot’s ally Nick was blindsided by the women and Joe. Scot and Jason were furious and decided that their ultimate goal was to wreak havoc around camp.

What were the key moments for Scot in this episode? Let’s take a look.

Key Moment #1: Hiding the machete and ax

Scot was pretty pissed about being betrayed last week and he made it known to the rest of the tribe. He and Jason decided when they got back to camp after tribal council that they wanted to make camp life hell for Joe and the women.

They decided that they would hide the machete and the ax so that the rest of the tribe couldn’t eat anything. They woke up early to pull off the sabotage and had to work around Joe working on the fire.

The boys grabbed the tools and hid them, and the rest of the tribe figured out pretty quickly how the items in question disappeared. That led to key moment number two…

Key Moment #2: Putting out the fire

While Joe and the women were figuring out Scot and Jason’s plan, Scot was sitting around the campfire and looking peeved. Cydney cooked a coconut in the fire and used a different item to pry it open with. As everyone was making comments like, “I actually prefer preparing it this way!”, Scot looked like he had something else up his sleeve.

The next thing that happened was insane.

Scot stood up, grabbed the water, and dumped it all out on the fire while everybody stared at him in shock. Joe snapped at him and Scot responded, “You’re the fire starter. Start the fire!”

While I don’t agree with Scot’s tactics (they were pretty immature), it was really funny.

Key Moment #3: Revealing the two idols

What an insane tribal council!

Tai and Jason revealed that they both have idols, but none of the guys mentioned anything about the Super Idol.

The Super Idol is when two hidden immunity idols can be put together after the votes are read and the person with the next amount of votes goes home.

Jason and Scot said they were going to rock, paper, scissors for who got to play the idol, which they did, but they ended up giving the idol to Tai, who tucked the idol away for a later tribal council.

It didn’t matter that the guys did this charade because the women were planning to oust Debbie anyway, due to her lack of communication skills and not listening to other plans.

This season of Survivor is really becoming a classic with all of the blindsides and other crazy shenanigans.

If I’m being perfectly honest, Scot has little to no chance of winning Survivor Kaoh Rong. His past profession as an NBA player wasn’t really doing him any favors, but now with the way he and Jason have been treating people, no one will want to vote for him in the finals.

Next: Key Moments From Last Week

It looks like next week that Aubry is going to try and talk Tai into switching, and we’ve all seen how easily Tai can be confused in this game. If Tai’s indecisiveness continues, Scot’s Survivor game could be over.
