While some of the recent draft picks for the KC Chiefs have been pretty bad, all teams strike out at some point in the NFL Draft.

More from KC Kingdom

I highly doubt many people will argue that Jonathan Baldwin shouldn’t be number one on this list. He was immature and despite being talented enough, never clicked while in the NFL. His low numbers in two seasons with the Chiefs and the fact that he’s already out of the league says a lot about just how much of a bust this guy was.

The rest of the players on here could probably be switched around, but Nico Johnson and Sanders Commings were second and third because the Chiefs actually could have really used them in their system. The Chiefs defense needed to fill the inside linebacker and safety spot during their times here, and not having them live up to their potential sucked. Commings was ranked lower due to injuries plaguing his career as opposed to just flat out sucking.

Dee Ford can hopefully be removed from this list in a year, but so far, he hasn’t shown flashes of potential at all. His three-sack game against the Chargers was great and all, but he did so against a backup lineman and didn’t do much else. He’s still young and has another season to prove himself before officially getting that “Bust and move on” label slapped on him.

Devon Wylie could have a case argued for him, which is that he played in Kansas City during one of the worst Chiefs seasons ever. He didn’t have a good quarterback throwing to him and the opportunities for him to prove himself just weren’t there. I think had the team given him another season, Wylie could have made an impact as a kick returner.

What do you think of this list? Did I leave anyone off?
