KC Royals news centers on the fact that Noah Syndergaard win over the KC Royals on Tuesday could not be heard due to the amount of noise made by their World Series rings.

The KC Royals held their ring ceremony before Tuesday’s game vs. the New York Mets.

Unfortunately, Noah Syndergaard’s nine strikeouts and three hits allowed carried the Mets to their 2-0 victory over the KC Royals.

Considering that these events often lead to defending champions losing at home, it was smart to schedule this year’s ceremony against a good team who you already beat decisively when it counted.

If the KC Royals had to play a game after their ring ceremony, it was best they chose the Mets.

This tweet will make you forget all about this regular season loss.

In other KC Royals news, prospect Kyle Zimmer remains in extended spring training camp due to lingering shoulder issues.

In another injury update, Jarrod Dyson could go on rehab assignment to Triple-A Omaha to foster recovery of his strained oblique.

Losing the second regular season game is a small price to pay for receiving your World Series rings.

They are not the first defending champions to have lost after their ring ceremony, and they certainly won’t be the last.

Dyson appears to be recovering nicely, and it is best he takes his time recovering.

The KC Royals don’t need to risk Dyson’s re-injury for early regular season games.

Zimmer having more injury woes is a little troublesome and quite unfortunate.

Zimmer’s career up to this point has been filled with injuries, and it is always painful to watch athletes being unable to overcome multiple injuries.

Let’s hope Zimmer’s luck turns around, for his and the KC Royals’ sake.
