The KU basketball teams is set to take on Maryland in the Sweet Sixteen. See where to catch the action.

The KU basketball team had little to no problems in either of the first two rounds of the tournament. They dominated the game against the Austin Peay Governors in the opening round of the tournament and followed that up with a decisive 12 point win over UConn.

Wayne Selden Jr has been playing his best basketball of the season lately and it couldn’t happen at a better time. If he’s going to continue to play hot and cold basketball, hopefully the cold streak doesn’t start for another few games.

The Terrapins are going to try to use their size to their advantage and contest all of KU’s shots. This is a game that many think could be relatively close, but if the Jayhawks can win this matchup that sees them towered over, there could be no stopping them.

The Jayhawks have put together two dominant performances already and now they’ve had five days to prepare for the Maryland Terrapins. Expect Bill Self and company to take control of this game and pick on Maryland’s weaknesses from the very outset. They’ll likely try to be aggressive early to get the Terrapins’ bigs in some foul trouble.
