KC Royals news is about spring training games and how the Kansas City Royals haven’t fared too well so far.

Spring training is just like the preseason games in football: They don’t mean anything and people feed way too much into them. Don’t. Spring training is a time for the arms to get warmed up and the players to get active and in a routine again.

The games don’t mean anything, and people freaking out because the Royals lost the first four spring training games is absurd.

So far, there’s been a lot of positives to take out of spring training.

For one, the young pitchers have looked pretty darn good. Kyle Zimmer looked nice in two innings of work earlier this week, and Miguel Almonte also had a solid debut on the mound.

Now obviously a negative out of spring training was the injury to Jarrod Dyson, which will sideline him for about six weeks. That news is unfortunate, but it will open up an opportunity for someone and maybe a star will be born in the midst of Dyson’s injury.

Spring training is exciting because it means baseball is officially back, but at the same time, fans are looking way too much into these games. They’re exhibition games and have no impact on how the Royals will do in the regular season.
