KC Chiefs Make Shocking Pick Early In 2016 NFL Mock Draft
The Kansas City Chiefs could literally go in just about any direction when it comes to their first round pick.
While going with a running back might not be a lot of people’s favorite option, it really could end up being a great selection. Jamaal Charles is aging and is coming off his second ACL tear in just five years so the need to look for a replacement is definitely there.

The rest of the draft had the Chiefs taking two big defensive tackles in rounds two and three, an offensive weapon in the fourth round, two offensive linemen, a cornerback, and a tight end. Most of these selections give the Chiefs depth at their positions, with offensive line being a prominent one for needing depth.
It also doesn’t hurt to add as much depth as possible on defense because we saw how scary that Denver Broncos defense was this past season. Depth played a huge part in that.
