With the Kansas City Chiefs’ season coming to an end in the AFC Divisional Round, it’s time to start looking ahead to the 2016 NFL Draft.

Mock drafts are going to be everywhere in the coming months, and we here at KC Kingdom decided to get a jump on this year’s crop of players entering the draft.

I used Fanspeak’s On the Clock NFL Mock Draft Simulator to do a mock draft of the KC Chiefs‘ selections. They had a total of eight picks in this particular mock draft, and the big board I used was Fanspeak’s big board.

This year’s draft is a little different than year’s past because the Chiefs really don’t have one glaring weakness on their roster. Free agency will help dictate what direction the Chiefs will go in regarding the draft, but until then, best available seemed like a good strategy.

This particular mock draft saw four offensive picks and four defensive picks for the Kansas City Chiefs, and I’d say that for an early draft, it wasn’t too shabby.
