The Kansas Jayhawks square off against in-state rival the K-State Wildcats this afternoon. Know where to catch the KU basketball live stream.

The KU basketball team has taken the lead of the Big 12 once again. They need to win in Manhattan to maintain their one game lead after West Virginia lost in the Erwin Center on Tuesday to Texas.

KU has been sub par on the road this season but after winning in Norman last Saturday they hope to continue their strong play.

Manhattan has become a very difficult place to play in recent years after K-state remembered they had a basketball team. After losing in Manhattan the past two years it is time to end the streak.

Few will forget the court storming and the confrontation between a K-state fan and Jamari Traylor. There have been PSA’s about it and the K-state administration have prevented further court storming on point of law suit. Hopefully there is no need for law enforcement at some point during this game.

The Jayhawks game plan is pretty simple: You are the better team, play like it.

It made KU fans a little uneasy when they started out against Oklahoma State with the Cowboys taking a 8-0 lead. The Jayhawks would battle back to eventually win comfortably.

It is hard to say what has caused the Jayhawks road woes this year but it is important to not get out of your game and stick to what you do well.

This game will be a big test at how the Jayhawks handle an extremely hostile environment. If the Jayhawks can play well despite the adversity they will face it will go a long way toward securing the Big 12 title once again.

K-state has to have had this game circled on their calendar from the beginning of the year. They will come out with intensity and energy.

If KU come out flat it wouldn’t surprise me to see another K-state victory. But I think KU learned from losing on the road early in the season and is ready to come out and play like they are capable of playing.

This should be a good game that could go down to the wire just like every game in the Big 12 conference. Find a good seat but you will only need the edge.

Or some other announcer cliches but most importantly is enjoying another game of KU basketball.

Rock Chalk, Jayhawks. GO KU!
