KC Royals News: The Bullpen and Spring Training Gear
KC Royals news this morning is about how the bullpen continues to hunt for dominating relievers, and about those super snazzy uniforms the boys in blue will don during spring training this year.
To some, it still hasn’t quite sunk in that the Kansas City Royals are World Series champions. The offseason really flew by, but a lot of that was due to the season stretching into early November.
In years past, the Royals have typically been out of any playoff run by the time summer had rolled around, so these past three years have been a nice change of pace. Obviously being the World Series champions doesn’t hurt either.
Despite winning it all in 2015, the Royals still have a job to do this year, and that’s to repeat as the world champs. They’ve made it to two straight World Series and the chances of making it to a third consecutive one is a tough task, but it’s not impossible. As we’ve seen with these Royals, anything is possible really.

The Royals parted ways with Louis Coleman on Friday, which shows that they’re still looking to build their bullpen. Some might wonder how it can get any better, as Wade Davis, Kelvin Herrera, and Luke Hochevar are all returning in 2016. The Royals even added former Royal Joakim Soria to the pen as well, which will only strengthen the already terrifying bullpen.
In other KC Royals news, Major League Baseball revealed the spring training swag for 2016, and the Royals’ gear is awesome. They have new hats with the standard KC logo, but now have a crown on top of it. Pretty freaking cool.
The gear for spring training will be available for purchase on February 1st.
