KC Chiefs news focuses on Travis Kelce’s quest for love which apparently will be televised by ‘E!’.

That’s right ladies, Travis Kelce will try and find his soulmate via reality television dating show. One lucky lady from each state will be invited to join Kelce on the show that has been titled ‘Catching Kelce’.

While 50 women try to catch Kelce, thousands of Chiefs’ fans are left to wonder what kind of impact this will have on the team.

There are some that will see this reality show as a distraction for both Kelce and the Chiefs. If he isn’t focused one hundred percent on perfecting his craft, will he see his performance decline?

The Chiefs are going to rely on Kelce to be a big part of the offense if they hope to have a shot at returning to the playoffs next season.

While some may fear the distractions that this could bring to the team, there are going to be some that will look at the national exposure as a positive thing.

For years, Kansas City teams have been pushed aside by the media darlings on the coasts. Getting the Chiefs some national attention may not be a bad thing for the franchise that has lost some fans throughout the years of frustration. (It may not be ESPN, but at least we got the ‘E’ right?)

Personally, I don’t think the dating show will have a positive or negative impact on the Chiefs. The show is likely to be shot mostly during the summer which will not have an effect on his ability to practice or participate with the team.

While this show will most likely draw in a few chiefs faithful, it’s not likely to draw in major NFL fans as it doesn’t really have anything to do with football. Most fans are going to be more concerned with the dance moves he does in the end zone rather than the moves he may flash on the show.

In the meantime, I wish Travis well in his quest for love or whatever he’s looking for.

The KC Chiefs have a busy off-season ahead of them with several players entering free-agency. While Travis Kelce looks for love, the Chiefs will have to look to fill some holes, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
