It’s a good sign that I had more than ten guys I could have included on this list, as it shows that the KC Chiefs are trending in the right direction.

The Chiefs had a great year in 2015. They started off slow with a 1-5 record, but won ten straight games to end  the regular season and then went on to win their first playoff game since 1994.

More from KC Kingdom

It was the most exciting Chiefs season that I can remember, and one would hope that it’ll only get better next year. This is assuming, of course, that the Chiefs bring back key guys like Derrick Johnson and Eric Berry, both who are the face of the Kansas City Chiefs organization.

It’s unlikely that Sean Smith and Jaye Howard will return to Kansas City next year, but Marcus Peters established himself as a starting cornerback in the NFL. He should be able to build on that and further demonstrate his dominance in the secondary.

With the way the season started, it looked like the KC Chiefs would be in line to draft in the top five. Things turned quickly though, and a large part of it was in thanks to these ten (11 technically) players for stepping up and doing their job on the field.
