KC Chiefs Inactives: Charcandrick West Out Vs Buffalo Bills

The KC Chiefs running backs unit takes another hit as Charcandrick West will not play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Buffalo Bills in a battle of 5-5 AFC playoff contenders.  The Chiefs are winners of four straight and they don’t have a team with a winning record left on the schedule.

The Chiefs will be without the services of Charcandrick West, who is out with a hamstring injury. West took over for Jamaal Charles after the star suffered a knee injury in week five.

West has 373 yards rushing, and 199 yards receiving so far this season. Spencer Ware and Knile Davis will carry the load against the Bills.

Ware gained 98 yards last week against the Chargers, and Davis has two 100-yard rushing days on his resume from 2014 for the KC Chiefs.

The Chiefs will also be without wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas as well.

Buffalo comes in fresh off a loss to the New England Patriots, and they’ll likely be without All-Pro defensive end Mario Williams today, according to the Associated Press.

It looks like quarterback Tyrod Taylor is a go, and he’ll have his work cut out for him against a Chiefs defense that hasn’t allowed 14 points to a single opponent in four weeks.

So first things first: Allen Bailey is still out. He hasn’t played since the Chiefs went to London, and he’s still apparently nursing a calf injury.

Dee Ford will miss a second consecutive game after hurting his back in warm-ups last week, while Ben Grubbs remains out with a neck injury. Not a great list for the Chiefs, but it’s to be expected in Week 12 of the NFL.

Bills Inactives

It’s an important game for both teams, and Bills coach Rex Ryan knows it, according to KCChiefs.com:

"“I think both teams are desperate to win this game because we know what it means,” Ryan said. “Both teams are fighting to try to get into the playoffs, so we know it’s a critical game for both teams.”"

Running back LeSean McCoy meets his former head coach Andy Reid today. McCoy is averaging 4.6 yards per carry this season and he’s found the endzone in three of his last five games.

It should be a classic cold weather battle from rowdy Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs are looking to stretch their win streak to five games, while the Bill are looking to regain control of their own playoff hopes – at least for now.

It’s a battle for position in the AFC playoff race today at Arrowhead Stadium. If the KC Chiefs can protect its home field against the Bills, they’ll be in prime position for a playoff push in December.  How do you think the Chiefs stack up against the Bills today?
