KC Chiefs Game Day Prediction: Week 2 vs. Denver

Everything in the past says Denver wins this game. Manning is 6-0 versus Kansas City since coming to Denver in 2012 and the Chiefs have failed to make things even remotely tough on the quarterback.
But games aren’t won based on the past. Currently, the Chiefs are the better team. Their defense, which has actually improved since last season, has not allowed an opponent to scored 30-plus points since a 56-31 victory at Oakland on December 15, 2013.
Manning is not the Manning of old, and it’s time the Chiefs finally put some pressure on him, causing some mistakes that will lead to Kansas City points. The home game on a short week is a major advantage for the Chiefs, and they will use that and cruise to victory.
At least, I think so.
Prediction: Chiefs 31, Broncos 17 (1-0 on the season)
