Thursday night marks the Kansas City Chiefs’ second game of the 2015 season, and the fifth time the Chiefs will play on Thursday Night Football.

Thursday Night Football was created in 2006, and here’s a fun fact: The Kansas City Chiefs played in the first ever primetime Thanksgiving game that same year. The Chiefs welcomed the Denver Broncos to town for a Thursday night match-up.

Sound familiar? Well, it should because that’s the same match-up we have this Thursday night at Arrowhead, only it’s not Thanksgiving.

A lot has changed with the Chiefs franchise since then, but it’s time to take a stroll down memory lane, and look back at every Thursday night game the Chiefs have seen since it’s inception in 2006.

What better place to start than where it all started? Sophomore year of high school here we come!
