KC Kingdom Looking For Next Great Royals And Chiefs Sportswriters

KC Kingdom has steadily grown as FanSided’s home for Kansas City area sports coverage dating back to when the site was first launched in late 2012.
KC Kingdom covers the exciting Kansas City Royals, the beloved Kansas City Chiefs, the surging Sporting KC soccer club, as well as the power conference schools in the area like the Kansas Jayhawks, the Kansas State Wildcats, and the Missouri Tigers. You might even find some Wichita State Shockers news or fantasy football advice.

The Royals are currently leading the AL Central and have the best record the American League. The Chiefs’ season is just around the corner. Sporting KC is trying to make it back to the MLS playoffs.

KC Kingdom is currently looking to fill multiple roles on site, from a paid co-editor position to staff writer roles for the more casual writers just getting their legs under them.
Expectations
We like to let our staff write about the aspects of the team they are most passionate about. There’s room for those interested in covering all of our schools and pro teams. If you love just one or several teams in the KC area, and have a voice to share, we want you on our team!
Writers are asked to contribute 1-2 posts per week. We’ll always welcome more frequent contributions than that, but we won’t require it.
We know that for most this is might just be a hobby and something you do for the love of it. That’s why we do it too, as most of us have families, full-time careers, and/or school to balance into our lives as well (there’s room for things besides sports, right?).
This is an opportunity to join a staff of writers here who are just simply passionate about our amazing KC area sports teams, and want to continue to reach the rest of this great fan base with interesting, fan-based content about our teams.
