Mike Moustakas is a lot of thinks to the KC Royals: An All-Star. A World Series Champion. And now…a YouTube celebrity?

Mike Moustakas has already accomplished a lot at the young age of 27. He’s been named an All-Star for the KC Royals. He then realized that he and Ned Yost are NOT friends after Yost made him bat against Aroldis Chapman in the All-Star game.

He’s also been a very symbolic player for the Kansas City Royals. A once promising young star was sent to the Minor Leagues in 2014 to work on his swing. He’d later return in full force and help power the Royals to back-to-back ALCS championships and two straight World Series’ appearances.

This off-season he teamed up with Stouffer’s in their ‘Fit Kitchen’ campaign. Here’s what he had to say about joining:

"“I was thrilled at the opportunity to partner with Stouffer’s Fit Kitchen as I have been a fan of Stouffer’s products for years,” said Moustakas, “Fit Kitchen is the perfect addition to their line-up for guys like me who are looking for meal options that fit our on the go lifestyle. They satisfy a need for a nutritious meal that still tastes good.”"

Now it would appear that he may be turning into a regular YouTube sensation along with fellow Stouffer’s Fit Kitchen spokesman Kris Bryant. They’ve now appeared in two Dude Perfect YouTube videos.

The first one, that came on back during Spring Training, was all about the stereotypes that you witness when playing adult softball. Anyone who’s ever stepped foot onto an adult softball field will find it amusing as some of these stereotypes are pretty spot on. Which player are you?

While Kris Bryant and Mike Moustakas only made a brief appearance in that video, a new video just came out that features the Royals’ hot-corner patrolman competing in various events.

The latest video was sponsored by Stouffer’s, and shows Moustakas competing in a home run derby, a dodge ball competition, and an egg toss with a target involved. Before anyone goes off on him for risking life and limb in the midst of baseball season, this obviously took place during Spring Training. Maybe that’s where his increased power is coming from this season! (relax…it’s a joke).

As a Royals’ fan, it’s nice to see the Royals getting some national attention off the field. Mike Moustakas is a fiery competitor and was credited for breathing life back into the Royals during their playoff run last season.

It also goes to show what a normal, down to earth, all around good guy Mike Moustakas is in general. It’s not often fans get a chance to catch a glimpse of players off the ball field. It’s nice to see him carry over that fun-loving energy to something everyone can watch and enjoy.
