It's been a brutal day for Ravens TE Isaiah Likely despite his breakout performance against the Chiefs in front of a national audience on Thursday Night Football.

Likely caught nine passes for 111 yards and a TD, cementing himself as a rising star, yet his post-game behavior was embarrassing at best. Kansas City safety Justin Reid appeared on the Up & Adams show with Kay Adams on Friday morning and responded to Likely's repeated strange outbursts.

To no one's surprise, Reid gave the perfect answer when asked about Likely's comments.

Justin Reid Gives Perfect Response to Isaiah Likely

After Likely stated this was probably the worst game the Ravens would play all year, Reid responded, "Well I hope...It's the first game of the season. I hope it's the worst game that anyone plays because if you're peaking right now then, you know, that's bad news come the playoff time."

Unlike the young Ravens tight end, Reid was quick to shower praise on his opponent. "He had a good game himself so credit to him," he noted before pointing out that the Chiefs weren't at full strength given Hollywood Brown's injury and that it was first-round WR Xavier Worthy's first NFL game.

Championship teams conduct themselves in a championship way. Baltimore hasn't experienced true success in over a decade and it was never more obvious than watching their absurd post-game behavior after Thursday's loss.

The Ravens entered the season looking like a legitimate threat to take the Chiefs down. After one single game, they've already imploded. Head coach John Harbaugh has significant work to do if Baltimore is going to come anywhere close to the AFC Championship game again, and his team's behavior last night should be a wake-up call moving forward.
