The Chiefs seemingly snatched away the Ravens' spirit during Thursday night's incredible 27-20 win to kick off the 2024-25 regular season.

Numerous Baltimore players gave embarrassing quotes after the game, displaying a lack of poise and leadership from the top down. Isaiah Likely had a phenomenal game, taking over the offense as Lamar Jackson's most trusted target, though he couldn't keep his composure after the close loss.

As Likely exited to the locker room, he exchanged words with a Chiefs fan that shouldn't be repeated in front of children.

Likely finished the game with nine catches for 111 yards and a TD. It was a true breakout performance despite starter Mark Andrews being fully healthy, though there's no excuse for his childish behavior.

Head coach John Harbaugh is rightfully considered one of the NFL's best coaches. However, this is an unacceptable look given the circumstances.

The Ravens are now 1-5 against the Chiefs since Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson entered the league. As is the case with many AFC contenders, Mahomes remains the boogeyman that Jackson can't escape.

If Likely is going to become the star in this league that he's on his way to becoming, he has mature and do a better job of controlling his emotions. He was less than an inch away from tying the game or possibly winning it, but now is an example of exactly how not to behave following a close loss.

For the Chiefs, it's obvious they're the class of the NFL and no team is close to matching their dominance or leadership.
