The Chiefs have been linked to many wide receivers as we look ahead to the NFL Draft, though perhaps none more so than Texas Longhorns' star Adonai "AD" Mitchell.

In fact, Pro Football Focus is calling Mitchell the "perfect" draft prospect for Kansas City. After an impressive performance in the College Football Playoff despite Texas' loss, Chiefs fans may already be dreaming of Mitchell in red.

Check out the report and what PFF had to say below.

Chiefs Draft Rumors: Texas WR AD Mitchell a Perfect Fit?

Standing at 6'4", 196 lbs, Mitchell had 55 catches for 845 yards and 11 TDs this year. He routinely made spectacular contested catches like the one above and would be an ideal addition to this wide receiver room.

Pro Football Focus wrote that the Chiefs "need a bigger, taller receiver who can dominate in the red zone. That’s what the 6-foot-4, 200-pound AD Mitchell can be. He has 10 touchdowns this season as one of the best route-running big receivers in the class."

Mitchell had the TD Monday night to boost his total to 11, and this is not the first time Mitchell has been linked to the Chiefs.

I'm personally fond of Florida State WR Keon Coleman, but he may not be available when the Chiefs pick. If that's the case, Mitchell would be a fine consolation prize as a red zone threat Patrick Mahomes can rely on.
