Even though the Kansas City Chiefs know how to draft well, not every pick has panned out. Here are the rankings of the franchise's eight worst draft picks of the last decade.

7. WR Skyy Moore — 2022 Round 2, Pick 54

I know that it's still early in his NFL career, but it's not hard to imagine that the Chiefs might regret drafting Skyy Moore in the second round of the 2022 draft.

The 23-year-old wide receiver hasn't exactly looked like a Day 2 selection to begin his career. The ex-Western Michigan playmaker has only tallied 43 receptions for 494 yards and one touchdown through 30 regular-season games. He's also been invisible for the majority of the last two postseasons, which includes missing the entirety of the latest Super Bowl run due to injury.

Although he's young enough to improve (in theory), that might not be the case. Moore's underlying statistics prove that he might be heading to 'bust territory' after recording a 50.8 passer rating when targeted in 2023. For reference, a mark that low would've been tied for third-worst among 59 quarterbacks last season, meaning Patrick Mahomes looked like Brian Hoyer (50.8) when throwing the ball to Moore.

If Moore wants to remain a Chief, he must figure out how to turn things around in 2024. He might never develop into a WR1, but he can still be a solid third or fourth option if he can be more efficient with his opportunities.
