3 Chiefs Who Could Be Traded During NFL Draft

As the 2024 NFL Draft approaches, these three Chiefs could find themselves shipped out of Kansas City during the annual event.

2. WR Skyy Moore

The Chiefs had high hopes for Skyy Moore when they opted to select him 54th overall at the 2022 NFL Draft. After all, the seemingly gifted playmaker was coming off a monster performance with Western Michigan that saw him amass 1,292 receiving yards with an MAC-leading 10 touchdowns in 12 games.

Unfortunately, the New Kensington, PA native hasn't come close to living up to the hype. He's only managed to produce 43 receptions, 494 yards, and one touchdown across 30 regular-season outings. What's even worse is that he only recorded at least 40 yards three times so far, which isn't what you want to see from a Day 2 selection.

Moore continues to prove that he isn't a reliable target when the Chiefs need him to be. He only caught 55.3% of passes thrown his way in 2023, which is significantly down from his rookie season (66.7%). It doesn't help that he also tallied a 50.8 passer rating when targeted last year.

The 23-year-old pass-catcher is also nearly two full years younger than Toney, though, meaning there could be a team out there that believes in him. If the Chiefs have the opportunity to move up at any point in the draft, I won't be shocked if they throw Moore in to help pull off a deal.
