The Chiefs are reportedly visiting with former Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins on Tuesday, who could sign a contract with Kansas City if all goes well.

He'd be a perfect low-cost, high-upside move for the Chiefs and newly-acquired WR Hollywood Brown has already taken to social media to recruit the versatile RB.

Kansas City players are no strangers to public recruiting and it seems Brown fits right in.

This, of course, is a nod to the text exchange between Andy Reid and Brown before the latter signed with the Chiefs. Reid texted Brown to "think diamonds" after telling LB Drue Tranquill to "think red" and "see Super Bowls" last year.

It's an effective recruiting message, especially considering Kansas City is trying to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

Injuries robbed Dobbins of his last couple of seasons, but he was an extremely talented rookie who averages 5.8 yards per carry in his career. As he tries to rebuild his value, the Chiefs offense is the best place for him to earn playing time while simultaneously competing for a Lombardi Trophy.

I'm optimistic that Brett Veach and Kansas City will land Dobbins, though we'll keep you updated on any updates as they become available.

The Chiefs have +650 odds to win the Super Bowl as things stand, but I think those odds are a value and believe Kansas City should firmly be the favorites.
