Ideal Chiefs' Free Agency Target Now Available From Biggest Rival

The Chiefs lost the battle, but might we win the war?
Derek Barnett, a former first-round pick and key contributor for the Philadelphia Eagles, was surprisingly released today after being held out of Monday Night's game for personal reasons.
Here's the latest and why Barnett may be a perfect Chiefs target:
Ideal Chiefs' Free Agency Target Now Available From Biggest Rival
This is a stunning move given Barnett's impressive career with the Eagles. He's had limited playtime time following an injury last season, but he was one of the league's premier pass-rushers in his first few seasons in the NFL.
Barnett had 21.5 sacks in his first five seasons in Philadelphia, routinely disrupting offenses in the backfield prior to his injures. His leadership was felt throughout the organization as well and he's a player I'd love to add to the Chiefs' defense.
We know how good Chris Jones, George Karlaftis, Mika Danna, Charles Omenihu and company are, but you can never use too many effective pass rushers.
This is a player with an elite pedigree, having been a 2017 first-round pick, and he's someone who could bolster Kansas City's depth heading to the postseason.
As a bonus, he's coming from the Eagles too! What better way to prepare for a potential Super Bowl rematch?
Here's hoping Brett Veach at least makes the initial phone call.
Whether we sign Barnett or not, BetMGM is giving you a $200 INSTANT bonus today regardless! New users who bet $10 or more on the Chiefs vs. Raiders right now will immediately receive $200 in bonus bets just for placing the bet. Sign up for BetMGM now!
