A prominent Chiefs staffer is following L'Jarius Sneed to the Tennessee Titans, as Data Scientist Erin Psajdl Davis was hired by the AFC South franchise as a Football Analyst.

Psajdl Davis was one of six people who made up the Finance, Strategy & Analytics division in Kansas City's front office. She'll join Alex Rogers, who interned for the Phoenix Suns, as new hires in Tennessee's analytics division.

The Chiefs listed a Data Scientist role on their job listings on Monday, so they appear to be hiring someone to replace Psajdl Davis.

Sneed became not only one of the best defenders in the NFL but a beloved member of Chiefs Kingdom as well. His departure represents the largest change from last year's team to this one, though now he'll have a familiar face around the building at least.

Analytics have become a critical component in preparation for not only NFL teams but in the sports world at large. Chiefs players largely credited their strategy in overtime of the Super Bowl to the analytics department, and the organization is always looking for any edge it can create.

Psajdl Davis' impact will be missed too, though it's harder to see since she doesn't suit up on Sundays. She's not the first important front office member that Kansas City lost but hopefully, the franchise won't miss a beat with whoever comes in next.

The Chiefs won't play the Titans in 2024-25 unless it's in the playoffs. Tennessee retooled their team on both sides of the ball in the offseason, so perhaps a reunion could be in store once the postseason rolls around.
