L'Jarius Sneed Sends Message to Trent McDuffie After Chiefs Trade
It's been a hectic couple of months for both L'Jarius Sneed and the Kansas City Chiefs but that came to an end on Mar. 29.
The Chiefs sent Sneed to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick and a swap of 2024 seven rounders.
Sneed also received a four-year, $76.4 million deal with $55 million guaranteed from Tennessee, which was a big reason why he departed from Kansas City.
The Chiefs posted a clip of Sneed on their official X page and current DB Trent McDuffie commented saying, "Coldest in the business. Best I’ve been around, keep solidifying your legacy family." Sneed responded, "Love 4L Lih bro, keep leading the way"
Chiefs News: L'Jarius Sneed Sends A Message to Trent McDuffie
Sneed and McDuffie formed a sensational duo last year on the outside. Both of these guys have learned from each other and McDuffie is now tasked with being that No. 1 CB for Kansas City.
But it certainly looks like the 23-year-old is ready for the role. Last season, McDuffie finished with 80 total tackles, seven pass deflections, five forced fumbles, and three sacks. Per PFF, the Washington product notched a 82.9 overall grade.
These stats helped McDuffie earn First-Team All-Pro honors.
That's why Sneed told McDuffie to "keep leading the way," cause he has the talent to be one of the best in the league.
