Chiefs Reveal Super Bowl LVIII Jerseys for Rematch With 49ers
By Joe Summers
All eyes will be on Super Bowl LVIII when the Kansas City Chiefs square off with the San Francisco 49ers in a rematch of the game that resulted in Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Andy Reid's first rings.
In a poetic touch, the Chiefs and 49ers will look similar to the way they did four years ago. Kansas City revealed their jerseys for the matchup and might I say, they're quite beautiful.
This should look familiar to Chiefs Kingdom.
Chiefs Reveal Gorgeous Super Bowl Jerseys and Patch
This will be the exact same uniform matchup that we saw in the first matchup, with the Chiefs rocking red and the 49ers wearing white.
That first game was a thriller, with Kansas City overcoming a 10-point deficit with under seven minutes remaining, led by the famous Jet Chip Wasp third-and-15 conversion to Tyreek Hill.
San Francisco is a slight favorite in the game, though I certainly favor the Chiefs in the matchup. With Patrick Mahomes under center in the playoffs, it's nearly impossible to discredit Kansas City's ability to win the franchise's third Super Bowl in the last five years.
Thanks to this uniform matchup, hopefully we see a similar result unfold that we did in 2020.
