3. Charles Omenihu - DE

Charles Omenihu only has one year left on his deal and while he wants a contract extension, the Chiefs have too many quality defensive linemen to give Omenihu the kind of deal he'll likely command.

Chris Jones signed a five-year, nearly $160 million deal, George Karlaftis will probably get a big extension, Mike Danna is on a three-year deal, and 2023 first-round pick Felix Anudike-Uzomah needs to see the field at some point too.

That leaves Omenihu as the odd man out after this season, especially considering he's still rehabbing from an ACL tear he suffered in the playoffs. He compiled seven sacks in just 11 games this season, but he's more of a luxury than a necessity moving forward.

Even on plays that don't result in a sack, Omenihu's consistent pressure helped give Kansas City the NFL's most dominant defense last year. He's spent time with the Texans and 49ers before joining the Chiefs and should fetch a multi-year deal for big money after this season.

That being said, it's hard to imagine him staying with the organization unless Anudike-Uzomah winds up a total bust. Andy Reid has coached a lot of stellar pass rushers throughout his coaching career and I'm excited to see who he winds up developing next.
