3 Chiefs on the Trade Block on Draft Day

The NFL Draft is known to feature its fair share of trades each year. With that in mind, here are three Kansas City Chiefs who find themselves on the trade block on Draft Day 2024.

2. Kadarius Toney, WR

Another struggling player who's potentially found himself on the Chiefs' trade block is Kadarius Toney.

Anyone who's been following the Chiefs shouldn't be surprised that Toney's future with the franchise is up in the air. Between his lengthy injury history and off-field antics, the former Florida Gator has struggled to produce results over the last two seasons. In 20 games with Kansas City, he's only managed to turn 41 catches into 420 yards without a touchdown.

Toney's 189-yard performance in his rookie year with the New York Giants seems like a distant memory at this point. The fact that he can't produce with Patrick Mahomes — one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time — is fairly alarming, especially when the WR room was one of Kansas City's biggest weak spots last year.

Toney is only 25 years old, though, so I won't be shocked if there's another team out there that believes in his potential. A change of scenery might be best for him at this stage of his career and the last thing the Chiefs need is more distractions as they chase another Super Bowl title.
