The final stretch of the 2024 NFL regular season is here with only three games remaining on the Kansas City Chiefs' schedule.

The road to the NFL postseason continues in Week 16 with Saturday afternoon's showdown with the Houston Texans. Not only will it be a solid test against one of the AFC's better teams, but it also marks the Chiefs' final 2024 regular-season outing at Arrowhead Stadium.

With that in mind, here are four Chiefs who are playing their final game in Kansas City on Saturday afternoon.

1. Kareem Hunt, RB

When Isiah Pacheco fractured his leg and Clyde Edwards-Helaire was dealing with mental health issues, Kareem Hunt stepped up as a hero in the Chiefs' backfield.

Signed at the end of September, it didn't take Hunt long to thrive in Andy Reid's offense following the exciting reunion. In 11 games since putting pen to paper, the ex-Toledo product has gone on to rack up 653 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 180 carries while also converting 21 catches into another 152 yards.

Hunt's 850 total scrimmage yards are the most he's recorded in a campaign since he tallied 1,145 with the Cleveland Browns in 2020, showing just how beneficial the return to Kansas City has been on his career.

Nevertheless, it wouldn't be surprising if Hunt isn't back in Reid's lineup next season. The 29-year-old RB is playing on an expiring contract and could field a lot of attention after his resurgence. Even though the Chiefs could potentially be open to another deal, they likely don't want to overpay when they can get a cheaper (and younger) backup runner through the draft.

After missing the Chiefs' last three Super Bowl runs, hopefully, Hunt can snag a ring in February because he may not get another opportunity to do so in Kansas City.
