Barring any unexpected offseason developments, these four Kansas City Chiefs players are likely playing their final regular season home game at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 16.

4. Josh Uche, DE

Chiefs Kingdom had some high expectations for Josh Uche after he was brought to Kansas City ahead of the NFL trade deadline.

After all, the Chiefs wanted to improve their pass rush and Uche seemed like the perfect candidate to help. The former Michigan Wolverine had racked up 20.5 sacks with the New England Patriots since 2020 and had already tallied 10 solo tackles and a pair of sacks in seven games this season before the trade.

Unfortunately, Uche hasn't even come close to meeting expectations. He's been held to 37 defensive snaps in five games thus far, only registering two solo tackles along the way. It's clear that defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo isn't a big fan of the veteran defender, as proven by Uche being a healthy scratch in Weeks 14 and 15.

Uche's outlook won't improve as long as he's stuck on the sidelines. Much to his dismay, though, that likely won't change down the stretch. The Chiefs are going to give opportunities to players they can trust in the playoffs and it's become increasingly clear that Uche doesn't fit that description.

So, consider Saturday's game Uche's final one in Kansas City. That is, if he even ends up playing.
