The 1972 Miami Dolphins and 2007 New England Patriots are the only teams in NFL history to go undefeated in the regular season. This year's Kansas City Chiefs are on their way to becoming the third franchise to join that list as they boast a flawless 9-0 record ahead of Week 11's showdown with the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.

Even though achieving perfection won't be easy, the Chiefs' outlook is somewhat promising considering that they only own the 14th-hardest remaining schedule, according to Tankathon. Having said that, Andy Reid & Co.'s undefeated record will be in jeopardy if they underestimate any of their upcoming opponents.

Here are three of the Chiefs' remaining opponents who are most likely to end their undefeated season.

1. Week 11 @ Buffalo Bills

If the Chiefs' flawless run does end, it could happen as soon as this week against the Buffalo Bills.

After all, Sean McDermott's team owns the AFC's second-best record (8-2) and is one of the NFL's best squads on both sides of the ball, scoring 29.0 points per game (3rd) while surrendering 19.3 (9th). That's without mentioning how Buffalo is 4-0 with a plus-17.5 average scoring margin at Highmark Stadium.

Even though the Chiefs have had the edge in this rivalry when it comes to the playoffs, that same success hasn't been there in the regular season. Josh Allen is 3-0 in three regular-season meetings against Patrick Mahomes, which includes when the Bills notched a 20-17 win over the Chiefs last December. If Kansas City doesn't play its cards right, history could repeat itself.

2. Week 16 vs. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans are another team that the Chiefs shouldn't take lightly down the stretch. Although they haven't been perfect this season, the AFC South leaders have managed to impress with a victory over the Bills this season while only losing by one possession to Super Bowl contenders like the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.

The Texans are in a bit of a slump at the moment, however, that could change by the end of December. They'll receive some much-needed rest with a Week 14 bye and will likely build up some momentum when they face an extremely beatable Miami Dolphins team one week before this massive AFC clash.

Now that No. 1 wideout Nico Collins is set to return from his hamstring injury, the Texans could look much more imposing come Week 16. Even if the home-field advantage is on the Chiefs aside, they must be ready to go to battle on that cold Saturday night.

3. Week 18 @ Denver Broncos

The Chiefs' undefeated season nearly ended in Week 10 when they faced the rival Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium. The Broncos fought hard against the defending Super Bowl Champions and even led for the majority of the game before Harrison Butker recorded the game-deciding field goal in the fourth quarter, giving the Chiefs a 16-14 lead that they didn't give up.

While the Chiefs are 5-1 in their last six meetings with the Broncos, some of those encounters were close as four victories came by six or fewer points. Additionally, the Chiefs' lone loss during that stretch came on their last trip to Denver, falling 24-9 to the Broncos in Week 8 of the 2023 campaign.

It's clear that Denver steps up its performance whenever it faces off against Kansas City. The Broncos could put forth an even stronger effort if they have the opportunity to spoil the Chiefs' perfect run in January.

Even though teams usually take it easy in Week 18, the Chiefs might have to keep their foot on the gas pedal for this AFC West collision.
