Elijah Moore, WR (Ole Miss)

I will start my summary of Elijah Moore with a warning — Despite having a similar body size to Tyreek Hill, they are not the same size, and don’t mistake the two.

More from Chiefs Draft Analysis

Moore is fast, runs good routes, and can make plays but isn’t as physical or good in a crowd as Hill has shown to be. With that said, Moore can still be a really productive player in this offense and would absolutely be worth moving up to draft.

He runs good, crisp, and fast routes and displays soft and good hands. As the quarterback play for Ole Miss improved, so did Moore’s performance. With the idea of playing with Patrick Mahomes, if Hardman doesn’t step up his game, I could easily see Moore taking that spot from him and Robinson.

While I don’t think Moore is ready to be a star, his ability to make splash plays could really help this offense continue to evolve. Reid’s ability to scheme plays and Moore’s ability to create separation would be another opportunity to find another weapon in the Chiefs’ offense.

If the Chiefs are going to win by passing the football on offense, they have to ensure they have plenty of weapons to catch the ball. They can’t check that box off as of now.

Trading up in the 2021 NFL Draft seems unlikely, but these five names could entice the Kansas City Chiefs.
