NO MONDAY NIGHT HOME GAMES?

Going back to my disappointment at the primetime scheduling, the Chiefs were gifted with no home Monday night games and that’s a bummer. I know Monday Night Football isn’t what it used to be, but it’s always a fun time at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs are playing just one Monday game and it’s against the Ravens in Baltimore in week three. That’ll be a great game, but it feels like the Chiefs should have received another Monday night game and the other should have taken place at Arrowhead. Complaints from a champion, I know.

NO AFC WEST OPPONENT ON THURSDAY NIGHT

Typically the NFL likes to schedule divisional opponents against each other on Thursday night, but that won’t be the case for the KC Chiefs this year, as they’ll play the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football in week six.

The Bills have been a frustrating team to face over the years and have absolutely had KC’s number. Throw in the fact that this game lands on a Thursday night and is on the road and that’s a huge disadvantage for the champs. This could be a loss unfortunately.
