FOUR OUT OF FIVE ROAD GAMES AFTER BYE WEEK

The Chiefs, once again, have a late bye week (week ten), which obviously they’ll be 9-0 by that point (kidding). When they return to action, they’ll play four of their next five games on the road, including games at Las Vegas (on Sunday night), at Tampa Bay, then a Sunday night game at Arrowhead, and then returning to the road for back-to-back games against the Dolphins and Saints.

Not only is that four out of five road games, but two of those four teams are going to be good in 2020 and the other two are no slouches either. That could arguably be the toughest stretch of the season for our Chiefs.

START AND FINISH SEASON AT HOME

Unlike the Broncos who usually always start their season at home, the Chiefs haven’t been so lucky in years past. If they hadn’t won the Super Bowl this year, they’d probably have opened the season with two straight road games for the third straight season.

Instead, Kansas City hosts the SEASON OPENER against the Texans and also finishes the regular season at Arrowhead with two home games against the Falcons and Chargers. The Chiefs and Chargers played at Arrowhead to end the 2019 season, so it’s interesting that that game was chosen as the season finale once again.
