The 2020 NFL Draft will provide all of us with a sense of normalcy during these difficult times and it’ll be fun to see what the KC Chiefs decide to do and who will join their roster in 2020 and beyond.

More from Chiefs Draft Analysis

Hopefully the Kansas City Chiefs end up with a few more draft selections instead of the mere five they’re currently armed with. They’ll make one selection in the first five rounds and don’t have a sixth or seventh round pick this year, but hopefully that changes.

In this mock draft, the Chiefs selected three defensive players and two offensive players. Both offensive players were actually offensive linemen, which is a big need for Kansas City. They don’t need a wide receiver or tight end and while running back is a need, they can find one who went undrafted or just roll with the ones they have on their roster.

On defense, Kansas City added an edge rusher, a cornerback, and a defensive lineman. Zack Baun would be a tremendous addition to the defense and could start right from the jump. Amik Robertson is a good option at corner, but will need some fine tuning. Khalil Davis could either be a great rotational player or we might not hear much from him.
