The 2025 Kansas City Royals could have a solid outfield with above average speed, solid defense, and above average on-base percentage. There’s potential for Lee to win a gold glove in left field and Pena to win Rookie of the Year in right field.

Offensively the outfield should cause terror on the base paths and stress the opposing pitcher by driving up pitch counts. The outfield bench should be above average in replacement of the starters.

If everything comes together in 2025, the KC Royals will have a top 15 outfield offensively and top 10 outfield defensively. Each player is capable of producing +2 value in WAR with Lee and Isbel capable of producing +3 WAR making the Royals above average at each position compared to the rest of the league.

The 2025 lineup will hopefully realize their potential and become one of the best offensive teams in Royals franchise history. The offense can score by manufacturing runs with speed on the basepaths, the ability to hit the ball into the gaps, and power to hit the ball over the fence.
