Kansas City Chiefs: Way too early mock 2020 NFL Draft
That concludes the first mock draft of the 2020 offseason!
While it’s still very early on in the process, this mock draft turned out far better than I could have imagined. Trevon Diggs and Cole Kmet were both steals and it was shocking to see them slip as far as they did. Cornerback and tight end are positions of need also, so for the Chiefs to get two high quality prospects where they were picking was most impressive.

Drafting a center might not help immediately, but the Chiefs won’t be rolling with Austin Reiter forever, so adding Matt Hennessy makes sense for a year from now. The interior offensive line needs help, but with just five picks, it’s impossible to get center and both guard positions filled in the draft.
The final two picks were Evan Weaver and Gabriel Davis, both of whom could make huge impacts in their respective roles. Weaver could probably be a starter as a rookie while Davis likely would need some time to develop.
This is the first of many mock drafts this offseason, but I won’t lie – It will be hard to top this particular mock due to the value the Chiefs got at each selection.
What do you all think of this mock draft? What positions should I have addressed?
