Cullen: Second to last question, and kind of a fun one: what’re you doing for the Big Game? Got any rituals or superstitions that you’d like to share with KC Kingdom?

More from KC Kingdom

Justin: Since I’m home for the Super Bowl this year I’m going to be hanging out with some friends to watch the Super Bowl. It’s going to be different because I actually have a dog in the fight this year, but that’ll make it even more enjoyable — and stressful. But nothing too big is planned other than hanging with some friends and watching football!

Cullen: Final question: Who you got Sunday, and by what score?

Justin: And here it is, the final prediction.

For starters, I think we have a great matchup on our hands between arguably the two best teams in the NFL this year — I think we lucked out. But if I’m making one final prediction, I’m going to give the slight edge to the Chiefs.

If the ball is placed in Patrick Mahomes’ hands with a chance to win the game, I can’t see him NOT coming through in the clutch. The Chiefs have the better quarterback. The 49ers have the better defense. And while the old cliché still remains true to some degree that “defense wins championships,” I think that Mahomes will win the battle against the 49ers defense in crunch time. But this one really could go either way.

Give me the Chiefs with a final score of 34-31.

There you have it! Thanks again to Justin for the responses and his time. Again, make sure to check out Golden Gate Sports for Bay-area related posts, including a lot more on the Chiefs final opponent of the season, the San Francisco 49ers.
