WINNER: TANOH KPASSAGNON

Sunday’s win highlighted the first two picks in the 2017 Chiefs draft class with Patrick Mahomes doing his usual work on the field and Tanoh Kpassagnon bringing the heat all afternoon.

A lot of fans were ready to give up on Kpassagnon after he failed to deliver in his first two years, but the second round pick came to play on Sunday. He totaled two sacks on Ryan Tannehill and showed that when the moment calls for him, Kpassagnon can rise to the occasion.

WINNER: TYREEK HILL

Tyreek Hill hasn’t led the team in receiving throughout the playoffs, but he’s still been clutch. On Sunday, he totaled five catches for 67 yards and two touchdowns. He also had a carry for seven yards. Even when he’s not the main guy, Hill still gets the job done and puts up good numbers.

WINNER: NOT LETTING HENRY RUN ROUGHSHOD

Perhaps it was because the Titans fell behind as the game progressed or maybe it’s because the Chiefs run defense has significantly improved, but the Chiefs kept Derrick Henry in check. All week long we heard that Henry was going to run amuck and there’d be nothing Kansas City could do to stop it.

Well, Henry finished the afternoon with 19 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown with his longest run being 13 yards. Henry never had that big touchdown run that he’s been prone to do during this Titans’ run and preventing that from happening made the difference.

Henry was moving the ball well early on, but because the Chiefs found the end zone and put up points, it forced the Titans to get away from their game plan. They’ll have to do the same to the 49ers in two weeks to be the world champions of football.
