Happy New Year, Kansas City Chiefs fans! The beginning of a new year is also exciting because along with it comes the beginning of the playoffs, which in some ways is a whole new season, a short win or go home season.
The playoffs are starting with a Kansas City Chiefs bye week and we thought it would be fun to go ahead and simulate the first week of the playoffs to get an idea of who the Chiefs might be playing next week. We didn’t stop there, however, as we also included a simulation of the entire playoffs.

In the Madden sim of the playoffs, the Chiefs will have a rematch against the Patriots at home next Sunday. This should be a fun match-up for the Chiefs, but fans will not like the result from the sim of that game.
After an upset happy simulated Wild Card weekend, let’s see what Madden predicts for the rest of the playoffs:

SUPER BOWL
PACKERS 43, Ravens 27
Not very many people are talking about the Packers this postseason, but Madden is predicting them to end the season on a streak of high scoring games to propel them to a Super Bowl win.
This is not exactly the ending that Chiefs Kingdom is hoping for with them losing in the Divisional Round, but luckily Madden has incorrectly picked against the Chiefs a lot this offseason and it’s turned out just fine for KC.
It is also interesting to note that Madden is predicting an insane Wild Card Weekend with plenty of upsets, so even with no Chiefs game it still should be an exciting weekend for Chiefs Kingdom as football fans.
