Fantasy Football 2019: Start Em, Sit ‘Em for Week 16
For those of you who have your title game taking place this weekend, let’s get you a few more Start ‘Em and Sit ‘Em options to help set your lineup.
START ‘EM
- Quarterback – Ryan Tannehill vs Saints
- Running Back – Devonta Freeman vs Jaguars
- Wide Receiver – Terry McLaurin vs Giants
- Tight End – Tyler Higbee vs 49ers (Saturday)
- Defense/Special Teams – Denver vs Lions
SIT ‘EM
- Quarterback – Derek Carr vs Chargers
- Running Back – Carlos Hyde vs Buccaneers (Saturday)
- Wide Receiver – Robby Anderson vs Steelers
- Tight End – Jason Witten vs Eagles
- Defense/Special Teams – Green Bay vs Vikings
Regarding the Start ‘Ems, Tannehill has been a nice story this year and he should do okay against the Saints this weekend in Nashville in what is a must win game for Tennessee.

Freeman has a nice match-up against Jacksonville, who have been very bad against the run here lately. McLaurin is a must start in most weeks now, especially with his rookie quarterback finally getting things figured out a bit. Higbee has become a favorite target for the Rams, so look for that to continue on Saturday. The Broncos will see a Lions squad on their third string quarterback, presenting quite the opportunity for that Denver D.
As for the Sit ‘Ems, Carr has fallen off a cliff over the past month and should be avoided in most leagues. Hyde has a tough task, going up against one of the best run stopping defenses in the league this year. Anderson probably won’t do much against a stout Steelers secondary. Witten did well last week, but the Eagles are good against tight ends. The Packers D will have their work cut out for them against a very good Vikings offense.
Hopefully this advice serves you all well and you win your fantasy leagues this year! Best of luck!
