Nebraska football currently sits at 4-3 and needs to win two more games to become eligible. This game against Indiana is one of the three remaining games that they could walk away with a victory in.

Theoretically, yes, the Huskers could win any of their remaining five games, but one remaining game is against Wisconsin and the other versus Iowa, who always gives Nebraska a hard time. Both of those teams do actually.

Indiana, Maryland, and Purdue provide Nebraska with the best chance of winning, so taking down the Hoosiers on Saturday would be really great because it’d mean the Huskers only had to win one more before being bowl eligible. This one is also their last winnable game at home too, making it even more important.

Indiana isn’t a team to overlook, but I also feel like Nebraska is being overlooked in this game. They’re home dogs against a team that hasn’t beat anyone great to this point (though the same could be said for the Cornhuskers). If Nebraska does come away with a victory, it could hopefully be the turning point for this program under Scott Frost.
