Just, don’t do it. For your own sake.
I doubt anyone has these players, but if you are trying to get cute with the QB position after losing a starter like Cam Newton, Drew Brees, or Ben Roethlisberger to injury, avoid doing it here. Maybe Marcus Mariota has a big game and catches another one of his own passes for a touchdown (man typing that still hurts) or maybe Gardner Minshew goes full Beowulf and slays the Titans defense.
Who cares. Stay away.
Corey Davis, WR, Tennessee Titans
It is time to give up on Corey Davis as a fantasy wide receiver. He has 6.8 total fantasy points on the season in two games, and has only ever gone over 10 fantasy points eight times in his career. That’s right. In 29 careers games, only eight of them have gone for more than 10 points. It’s over for Corey Davis.
Prediction: Corey Davis pulls a week one Jimmy Graham, scores 20 points this week just to prove me wrong, the Fantasy Gods laugh in my face and he never reaches 20 points in fantasy ever again.
