Four wide receivers Kansas City Chiefs must contain in 2019
By Chris Clark
In addition to the receivers already listed, the Chiefs will also face decent receivers when they play the Chargers and the Vikings.
Barring any injuries, the Kansas City Chiefs will face the Chargers’ Keenan Allen and Mike Williams twice and the Vikings’ Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen as well. These names could have made this list too, but it would be hard to single out which player in those tandems would be a bigger threat.

The Chiefs will also have to be ready for Oakland’s free-agent signee and former Charger Tyrell Williams. Thankfully, the Chiefs have had regular experience playing Williams and he’ll also be adjusting to a new team.
Even if players like Williams aren’t the biggest threat, they can be with more of the attention being given to players like Antonio Brown, Marquise Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, and N’Keal Harry.
Ultimately, whether Kansas City is playing a rookie or an All-Pro at the wide receiver spot, they need to contain them well enough to eliminate them from changing the game. If they can hold the players listed here to season lows, they’ll be well on their way to playing some solid defense and a lot of wins.
Containing the league’s better receivers and lowering the passing yards allowed from 2018 will be a welcomed change for Chiefs Kingdom.
