Week 14 – N’Keal Harry

The name N’Keal Harry on this list may surprise some readers. The New England Patriots 2019 first round pick will have a lot to prove in his first year. With the absence of (currently) retired tight end, Rob Gronkowski, quarterback Tom Brady will be looking to make a new connection that he can depend on.

While Brady still has one of his most reliable targets in Julian Edelman, he’ll still want to build chemistry with his new receiver.

It may seem unreasonable to expect Harry to have a huge rookie year, but he ultimately has landed in an incredible scenario. Not only does he have the timeless Tom Brady for a quarterback, but he also has arguably the greatest head coach of all-time in Bill Belichick and one of the league’s top offensive coordinators in Josh McDaniels.

Fortunately, for the Chiefs, a few of the other names on this list won’t have a lot of time to build chemistry with their quarterbacks. In this scenario, though, Brady and Harry will have nearly a whole season to build that chemistry. By week 14, the entire league should know whether the Patriots made a good choice in selecting the 6’2″ 228-pound receiver with the 32nd overall pick.

One unfortunate part for Kansas City in facing Harry is where they will face him. New England in December is always a tough place to play, especially with playoff and Super Bowl aspirations on the line.

In order to walk out of Foxboro with a win and get a boost in moving towards the postseason, the Chiefs will have to contain the rookie on his home turf.
