- D.J. White (DB, GTech)- D.J. White only appeared in one season for the Chiefs and was active in only 11 games. He had one interception and three defended passes in his lone season with the Chiefs. He was cut by the team in 2017 and then bounced around with the Colts that year. I can’t give a grade out here because you don’t expect much out of a sixth round pick and the Chiefs got something out of him.
- Dadi Nicolas (OLB, VT)- Nothing really to say about Dadi Nicolas. He was active for 11 games, but recorded zero measurable stats. He was traded to the Browns in 2018, but the trade was voided with zero explanation.
In conclusion, this draft was pretty bad for the Chiefs. They found two stars in Jones and Hill plus an okay starter in Murray, but there are a number of incompletes that makes this draft hard to grade.
The only two players left on the team from this draft are Jones and Hill, but Hill’s status is clearly up in the air. If I have to give a grade to this, I give a C- because Hill and Jones are not enough to overcome some of the misgivings.
