These are always fun to do and using a different big board every time is important because I want these to look very different each time. You never know what’s going to happen on draft day, so doing different mock drafts provides different situations for the Chiefs.
This one turned out pretty well, though some picks could have been taken much later (Caleb Wilson out of UCLA is an example). The Chiefs need to fixate on defense and they took five defensive players with their eight picks. The offensive selections were spent on a wide receiver, tight end, and offensive guard.
The draft is a week from tonight and that has Chiefs Kingdom fired up! Will the Chiefs go on the defensive side of the ball for five of their eight picks like they did in this mock or will we see a different strategy?
What do you think of my mock draft, Chiefs fans? Who do you want to see the team take next week?
