The KC Chiefs will have some difficult decisions to make regarding which positions to address and when to address them. This mock draft saw them tightening up their secondary with their first two selections.

The run defense needs help too and that was where I wish I’d have done better in this mock draft. Rather than reaching for a guy like Kendall Blanton, KC could have went with a run stopper rather than a blocking tight end.
I’m honest about how these mock drafts turn out and while some of the later picks weren’t great, the first two selections would make Chiefs Kingdom very happy. I also thought getting Bryce Love in the fifth round was a downright steal.
Maxx Crosby was another pick I liked because he was a tackling machine during his time at Eastern Michigan. Playing in the MAC definitely bumped him down to a sixth round draft choice, but make no mistake: Crosby could add some spice to the Chiefs defense and might be able to help them stop the run.
All in all, getting a solid cornerback and safety with the first two selections made this mock draft a success. It’d be awesome if KC could land both Greedy Williams and Taylor Rapp, as they’d both likely be starters as rookies.
What do you think of my mock draft, Chiefs fans?
